I would also like to thank the entire editorial staff of the journal Ricerca Psicoanalitica and, above all, Laura Corbelli, for this wonderful opportunity. Without her, I certainly would not have made this enjoyable foray into the psychodynamic world. Reading the three commentaries on my clinical case was both pleasant and highly engaging. What strikes me most is the cross-cutting convergence – albeit from different theoretical approaches – on the idea that the quality of the relationship is central to the transformative process.
