The debate on internal democracy in political parties is as timely as ever. This paper addresses this issue, calling for action by the legislature to enable members to effectively participate in the various moments of party life. In addition, the paper responds to the various objections that have been raised from time to time regarding a reform that addresses the issue of internal democracy.
